I need some new cycling shoes. I have wide feet and would like to try on some Louis Garneau shoes. I see that Bikesport Michigan has them, but that’s an eight hour drive for me. Does anyone know of a place within 3 hours of Rochester, NY that carries Louis Garneau stuff? I suspected Endurosport in Toronto does, but I couldn’t find a product list on their website. I couldn’t find a store list on Louis Garneau’s either. Buffalo, Syracuse, under my nose in Rochester? Thanks in advice for any tips.

Swan Cycles ((607)277-0495), just outside of Ithaca, NY carries LG stuff. As you probably know, that’s about 2 hrs from Rochester. Hours are M-Th 6:30-9:30pm. Give him a call first to see if he’s got what you need. I know he deals other LG stuff so I’d figure he has shoes.
Be “warned” though- it’s a very unconventional shop. It’s run out of an annex on his house, which is in the middle of the country outside of Ithaca. Get the directions when/if you call him. However, it’s the best shop for service and prices that I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. When my fork race was too big to fit on the steerer tube, the owner machined me a matching race with the proper inner diameter. If you’re from the central NY area and have done any road racing, then you probably have heard of/raced against Glenn Swan.
Try Geneva Bicycle center. They carry lg stuff
