I’m looking to sell my 56cm 2007 P2 carbon in the white/red mondrian paint scheme… coincidence? I think not! ![]()
Are you looking for a frameset or full bike? Awesome bike, can’t go wrong with a P2. Places like Nytro, Trisports, Competitive Cyclist, etc are all great. Your LBS would also cut you a deal I’m sure, if you have a cervelo dealer somewhere near you of course.
Buy the complete bike. I only needed the frame when I picked a new P2 up a couple of months ago but I bought the complete bike for another $400. Pretty good deal to get full Ultegra drive train, some wheels you can sell, a saddle you can sell, etc. I parted out what I didn’t want and still got a full Ultegra drive train for about $100.
If I remember right, starting in 2010 Cervelo dealers were no longer allowed to sell new bikes online.
I thought you could buy them online as long as you went to the store to pick it up?
Sure, you can still do that. You just used to be able to buy one online and the dealer would ship you the bike.

So, Cervelo doesn’t care about customer convenience i guess!
They do. And they care about their channel. By caring about both, it means that they can provide the best customer service at consistent prices to everyone in the world.

I would argue that if I know what I want and have no use for a “professional” at a retailer, then it’s more convenient for me to buy online and pick exactly what I want. Instead of going to a “professional” at a retailer and having them try to talk me into what they want me to buy. In the end, I don’t mind buying through cervelo online and picking up at a retailer. Cause I am more likely to avoid the salesman. But Cervelo saying that they are providing superior customer service because they send their retailers to a training session is, in my mind, not true.
