Looking for Knee j-brace recommendation for cycling

Hi guys,

I’m looking for a recommendation for a patella stabilizing J-brace for cycling. I have been using the epX brace for a few years and it worked great for me (going through one every few months). But epX changed the design to make the inside of the brace grippier, and this new grippy material works well enough to tear skin off the weaker skin-graft skin I have in that area. So I need to move to a new brand. Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Matthew

I got a pretty good case of runner’s knee several years ago and used this DonJoy brace while cycling/running while it recovered. I had no complaints about it other than it was hot. It was nice neoprene on the inside, nothing too grippy

I have had no success what-so-ever in wearing various knee braces while on the bike. I find they really irritate the back of my knee, and they are extremely hot.
