Looking for Ironman entry

After a successful late season half IM, my wife and I are interested in an Ironman event for 2007. All Ironman races are sold out at this time. Does anyone know a way to obtain a legal entry? Charity, etc.?

No way in

Check out

Great Floridian
Silverman
International IM races.

Hop a flight and make a vacation out of it…

Plenty of good races overseas.

In the past you could sign up for the Multisport camp and pay the entry for an entry to certain IM’s
Not sure if that’s still true but it would be worth a shot to check it out. And the camps are fun too!!

Good Luck

You can purchase a race/training program through Multisports.com - or attend one of their camps!!

Best of luck!

as stated, multisport.com has entries to some races if you purchase a training plan package. also, both california 70.3 and florida 70.3 have 50 entries to each NAS Ironman race.

Either the multisports.com route or try and get a qualifying spot at California 70.3 or Florida 70.3, or some other races, depending on the particular IMNA event ou want to do.

You might consider the new 101 series?

Not only could you race iron at the Grand Columbian…You could receive an “iron partnership” award of the combined times of you and your wife. www.thegrandcolumbian.com

Check this page. At certain 70.3 races, they have qualifying slots for the North American IM races:

You can also, as was mentioned, get into many overseas IM races.

You can also do a half like CA 1/2, buy a lotto entry and even up your
chances with a passport entry, and try to get into kona (not the ST
approved way to kona of course  ).

do the new series of races that are coming out… http://www.trioneoone.com/ i am since all are sold out

By having all the races filled, you could make the Excuse that you would have to Travel.
Busselton would be a great first IM. Flat course, great beach and you could rack up the FF miles.

Best of Luck!
