i’ve been doing tri’s for a few years and after a recent hiatus because of moving, getting a new job and the birth of my daughter, i’m set to do IMOO this year. While i’ve been keeping active, i haven’t been doing any events, and as a result, i have no idea where to find a decent compilation of races in the area. I’m looking for 2 half IM races and an early season oly to gauge my progress. I live in chicago and i know that they’re out there, i just can’t find them. I remember spirit of racine was fun, and i’ve benn only marginally successfull with active.com and windy city sports. any suggestions? thanks for the help. Im hoping to stay in the Ind,ILL, Wisc area.

Pigman in IA (~four hours from Chicago).
Steelhead, 70.3 in Benton Harbor, MI. Probably about 1 1/2 from Chicago, just over the MI/IN border
For the 1/2s, Muncie is mid July (12th or 19th?), Racine is a week or two later (19th or 26th?), Steelhead is early August (1st or 8th?).
