Looking for good, safe 2 to 2 1/2 hour ride route in Lubbock, Texas

I’m in Lubbock for a couple of days with nothing to do this afternoon. Have my road bike and am looking for a route to get in an easy 40-50 miles. Could do BSLT 70.3 route, but I’m not looking so much for hills.

Anyone have a suggested route? I’m staying just across 19th Street from Texas Tech. Would prefer a route I don’t have to drive to.

I live in Lubbock.
There are numerous routes that fit your bill.
Go to Broadway Bikes (University and Broadway) and buy something so you can look at their map of routes.
They are very cool and are happy to help you.

Yes, down from Crickets.

I’d give you a route, but I exclusively ride the Buffalo route.

Thanks for the advice. They gave me a nice route out to Reese (?), the former Air Force base. Worked out well. Was only 32 miles, but I had a tailwind on the way home, so that was nice.
