Check out the timex watches: cheap, durable, lots of features and kinda cool looking ![]()
Sounds like every athletic watch Nike makes. I’ve used several models for many years with nary a problem.

Did Timex go out of business or is their site down?
…works for me…
I used Nike http://www.jomashop.com/nike-triax-speed-100-super-wr0127-004.html for many years, excelent size(small), functions, easy to use and easy to read the digits. The disadvantage was quality, the 2 last ones lasted less than 1 year.
Changed to Timex Ironman. basically same functions as Nike, but a bit more clumsy, not so easy to read the digits and a few other minor issues.
Define works.
I’m able to look around the site, add watches to my shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
I just ordered this one Ironman sleek to help me train for Wildflower HIM. Has all the bells and whistles you could ever want.

I’m a fan of Casio’s. I currently have this one:
http://www.casio.com/products/Timepiece/G-Shock/DW5600_Series/product/DW5600E-1V/
and another not listed on their site. It’s not a G-Shock and I use it for any activity including swimming and scuba diving (rated for 200m). This is the second one I’ve had and the first lasted 7 years on the original battery.
I think I paid $40 for each at Wal-Mart.
Timex ironman 30-lap. If you’re feeling REALLY crazy, you can get the HRM one.
A little more pricey ($70) but the Silva Tech4O Accelerator Runner (http://www.tech4o.com/p-19-mens-accelerator-runner.aspx) is a great multi-sport watch. It is small so it does not get in the way but has big easy to read numbers and a very easy to see backlit face. You can use the stopwatch and store up to 50 laps. There is also a countdown timer (beeps after X minute) which I use for nutrition reminders. Then there is the added bonus of the accerlometer feature. This gives an estimate of your running speed and distance. It is just an estimate but I have found it is within 10% of my Garmin and normally closer to 5%. I highly recommend it.
I got a forerunner 50 off ebay for 40 bucks brand new.
Timex sport 1440 is what I have. Tiny, light, and durable. It tells time, it’s got a stopwatch with a lap feature. It wasn’t more than $15 at walmart, and I’ve worn it almost 24/7 since I bought it 5 years ago. One of my most useful exercise investments ever - many times, simpler is better!
Your requirements sound like everything out there. With that said, and like many others, I am a big fan of the Nike watches. Personally, I prefer the older Speed Triax series to the newer Vapor for the interval timer, but the watches score highly in both function & form.
