After reading some of the recent posts on swim drills and technique, I started thinking that I should invest in a few swim lessons from a good coach. Most of my technique and drills have come from grade school swim classes, Total Immer., and this forum. I’m a decent swimmer who is usually in the top 1/4 of my AG, but I know I can improve in many areas.
Does anyone know of a good swim coach in the Santa Barbara/Ventura, CA area? I can start calling around, but I’d like to find someone who is knowledgable and I can trust.

As the guy above said, you needto be going to see Mateo. He runs many swim workouts in the pool at UCSB and is coachine some of the very best swimmers in the game round here. He is super friendly and if you take him some cofee he will be stoked. As for the swim drills there ois none better if you want to improve in this area. Not a problem. The guy spends more time on the deck of a pool than anyone I know, he will definately be able to help you.
I set up a swim session w/ Mateo tomorrow morning and a session at the track in the afternoon.
