I thought I would just put up a post for those of you traveling to Lake Placid for IM on July 25th. If you need to ship your bike, I know a really great place to ship it too that will charge you the least, but will have really great service. Placid Planet Bicycles charges only $50 to put your bike together, give it a race tune, and store your bike box until you are ready to pack it up again. If you want them to pack your bike back up and get it ready to be shipped it is another $50. They also stay open 24 hours a day starting on wednesday until Saturday night!!! I always go there for all of my bike needs and they are great and will do whatever they can to get you what you need when you need it. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for a place to ship their bikes, but don’t want to spend a fortune doing it! See you all in Placid. Happy Training!
