Looking dumb at the LBS

So’s I take my OCR2 in for a tune up. Nothing big just dial in the shifting and what not. I had a pair of 3TTT sub 8 aerobars I couldn’t quite get adjusted. The front part connects to the elbow rests and connecting gear in a wierd way. The connection stuff is two pieces screw together with the extension held in place by tension from the connector thing. You have to see it.

I throw my piece of art on to my bike rack and putter down the road. I wheel the bike in and say “can you help me get the these aerobars to stay together?”
“What aerobars?”
I look down and see the front extension is gone. It must have bounced off over a train track. Only the arm rests where on the bike. I like to think they where laughing near me not at me.

Oh, they were probably laughing AT you. The real question is. . .were you laughing at yourself? I’ve got a pair of old Scott RCOs that are a bit corroded, but still workable if you want them. Send me a message w/your address and I’ll ship them out.
