Used for 2009 triathlon season. In Excellent condition, extremely clean, very well cared for and maintained.
The LOOK 596 i-pack is Extremely Aero, stiff yet comfortable, very light for a TT/Triathlon frame, and (not surprisingly) FAST!
In fact, one of the awesome design features of the 596 is the ability to fit this bike to a wide range of riders. The stem can be mounted in either “high” or “low” position, and can be further “indexed” to several different angle options, achieving essentially any position!
One worry of purchasing a used bike with an integrated seat post/seat tube is having the seat tube cut too low, making it impossible to get a high enough saddle height with the spacers.
Because I ride a high saddle height of 77.5cm measured center of BB through seat tube to top of saddle, basically ANYONE interested in this frameset will not have to worry about the integrated seat tube being cut too low. In fact, less than a centimeter was cut from the top of this integrated seat tube to begin with! You will most likely be required to cut the seat tube (seat tube cutter/holder is supplied and can be done easily by yourself or your local bike shop).
There are a few basic, minor, cosmetic scuffs that are consistent with a season of use.
I will ship UPS ground, insured for the full selling price. It will be Professionally packed in original LOOK 596 i-pack specific cardboard frameset box. (I am willing to ship international, but would prefer not too)
