Is there a difference between the Look 486 Tri and Look 486 road frame? On the Look website, the same page for the geometry pops up, but is there a difference?

As far as I could figure out it’s paint…but who knows…I also know there is a track version. There was actually a new one fully built up with Record and 303s on ebay a little less than a week ago with a $2100 starting bid with no bids on it with two days to go…The guys who was selling it was selling several other really high end bikes as well. I was watching the item just out of curiosity but then it just disappeared before the auction ended with no buy now option. But I guess the old saying is true “If something seems too good to be true than it probably is.” Who knows though it could have been a really good deal…doesnt seem like that many people are really into them for some reason.
I had one a couple of years ago, and then they also had a limited edition model (about $500 more) - which was just a different paint job and came with the look seatpost. Very nice bike, but I guess it has been around for a while now…
