T1 at IM Wales is about 1k as you have to run up from the beach and across town. Really great atmoshere though.
Wildflower T1 since it no longer has water in the lake is so long they deduct the distance from the run. It’s like 2 miles or something.
I think IM and 70.3 at Mt. Tremblant has a pretty long T1, not sure of the distance but it is a good ways for sure
IM Wisconsin has slow transitions as well. Exiting the water, running up the Monona Terrace helix, inside the building, then back outside to the bikes…
IMNZ swim to T1 is around 600m. Then there’s around 30 steps at the end just for good measure.
The Escape from Alcatraz tri has a .5 mile run from the beach to the transition area, they even have a mini-transition area at the beach before that run for the tenderfoots in the race.
Run to T1 at NYC is about 700yards, on some rough pavement.
If I remember right the Encinitas Sprint Tri has a wicked run from the ocean to T1, distance maybe a tenth of a mile but up a nasty grade that will absolutely gas you.

Beach to Battleship has a LONG T1. The run from the swim exit to T1 is over 300 yards, much of it on surfaces that have tons of pebbles and other debris.
IMWI… my combined transition time was 8:15 combined (I took some time in T2 to get my socks right). The 1st male pro took 5:53. I found one fast amateur with a 6:46.
It’s not so much the distance, but the fact that your running inside a building and the elevation gain out of the swim. But it’s also COOL AS HELL having people cheering you on and high 5’s running up the helix. It easy to almost get too focused on the race and miss some of the best moments.
The helix into T2 at IMWI has more elevation gain that the entire IMMD bike course!
But I see there are some longer ones. Wildflower might win this.
I had 0.42 miles on the old Lake Las Vegas 70.3 T1. Thankfully it doesn’t exist in that configuration for Silverman.
From my Garmin…
70.3 Puerto Rico - .45 miles
NYC triathlon - .55 miles
Tremblant - .5 miles

yah, it’s so long that it’s really a 3 transition race. Swim. Running shoes on (T1), Run 2 miles, Run shoes off - bike gear on (T2), Ride (easy 56!!!), Run gear on (T3), Run (cool+flat ~11). Oh and out of the water to T1 and the first 400+ of run1 is flat too (not!).
ye ha!
As i remember the Chicago Tri has a long T1. Running thru 7000+ bikes, let alone finding yours is not easy

I remember when I thought IMLP was a long transition…how times have changed!

It’s actually not that bad. About .7 of a mile from water exit to the mount line. However, transition area is often a maze and a mud pit.
ITU Chicago last year was the longest I’ve experienced. Nearly 1.5miles between swim out and bike mount.
70.3 Muskoka T1 is fairly long. You exit the swim on a golf course and then run uphill and around to the other side of the main hotel resort building. It’s steep enough to get the heart racing for sure.
I used to think Racine 70.3 had a long T1 at about 500 yards most of which is sand. Guess it’s not that bad after all. Still sucks running up all that sand after a long swim. It’s like one of those bad dreams where you’re running your guts out and not moving.
