Everyone:
Join your friends, family and tri-mates in Muncie on Aug. 13, 2005 for the 18th Pepsi Y-tri, a two race, chip timed, triathlon featuring a longer swim 3k/60k/15k triathlon and 400m/20k/5k sprint. The shorter race is the Indiana host for the Best of the US national series and both are club races in this region. Register at Active.com or check out the web page at Muncieymca.org.
The race will be held at Prairie Creek reservoir and is highlighted by an outstanding bike course with newly paved road, tons of volunteers, music, food and fast racing!

Ahhh! An even more-pronounced fish-friendly race! Here in Ontario there are Muskoka, K-Town, and Collingwood, all with 2000m swims , mid-50s km bikes, and 15/16km runs. Unfortunately for me, the last thing I am is a fish, so these do not cater to my strengths. Nevertheless, I am doing K-Town this Sunday, and I’ll see how it goes to do a 1/2iron swim but have a whole lot less distance to catch the fish than I would in a standard 1/2iron. Your 3/60/15 race will appeal to a lot of the strong swimmers out there! (Next year, add another race - 1km/75km/18km would be just peachy.)
