Long run pace? (1)

From all the running pace calculators off my recent running races they say my long runs should be at 8:20, not sure if that is right. My long runs are normally around 8:55. My 5k pace is 6:30 in open race.

Sounds right?

Per J. Daniels pacing, if your open 5k is ~20:00, your “easy” pace should be around 8:40 so it sounds like you’re in the ballpark.

You should be around 1:30-2:00 min off of it. Remember your long run pace is not suppose to feel difficult to hold to start with. Run at a comfortable pace you can hold.
