Look up hawaiinaturecenter.org See map to Makiki park. The trail run there is fantastic. Look at the model/map at the base and run in a counter clockwise fashion. It is uphill 1,000 ft or so and probably muddy. The top section called Manoa Cliff trail is spectacular. Take water and you will probably get lost a couple times, but most of the trails end up back at the Nature center. There are some maps posted along the way. Probably get anywhere between 10 -15 miles. Enjoy
Not sure about trails (since I have a tendency towards sprained ankles when running on anything except blacktop), but I’d guess most of the trails would be quite muddy due to all the rain. I’ve been hiking a bit this week and all the hiking trails are a mess from the rain.
Probably one of the most straight forward/easiest 14-15 mile run is from Kapiolani Park east up over diamond head, turn left at the sign pointing you towards Highway 72/Hanauma Bay (Kealaolu Ave). Run that road to the end (you hit the on/off ramp of the H-1), turn right, run as far as you want to go, turn around and go back. Somewhat scenic over Diamond Head and along the highway near the water.
There are a couple of beach parks/parks/gas stations along that route you can use for water stops if you need them.
There was an article in recent Runner’s World on a few suggestions. See link below:

Mpst trails are pretty vertical. You can do the Tantalus Loop, nice views on pavement into rainforest, big climb, long descent. A great, steep, trail run is Kulioo…
run from downtown to diamond head, do a couple of solid rep’s up to the top and back down, then run back to honolulu and you’re done.
You are probably already running but there is a 10 mile (one way) trail called the Maunawili Exhibition Trail that I would highly recommend. It starts on the Kailua side of the Pali, and ends in Waimanalo. It countours along side the mountain, very little elevation gain. Only caveat is that it has been raining a lot lately so the trail is probably too muddy to run on.

Did this run when I was there a couple months ago. From our hotel on Waikiki Beach to the top of DH and back was about 9 miles, if I remember correctly. A great “city” run, and the climb to the top, including a couple of long, narrow staircases, was a terrific way to burn off the mai tais.
