I´m thinking on doing my lung runs un Thursdays and was wondering if Saturday would be a good day to do my long weekly ride or should I wait until Sunday so my legs are able to recover (throwing in a short recovery ride on Saturday)?
I do exactly that. Obviously waiting until unday would allow more recovery. Typically however unless I push the long run a bit to hard I’m pretty much good to go by Saturday.
Can’t say it’s the “best” situation as you’re still a bit tired, but ot’s WAY better than long ride long run back to back on Saturday and Sunday.
