Another swimming forum, which had run for 13 years and had a lot of knowledge (and I was banned after my thread on finding swim club derailed), was closed down this month due to the lack of traffic.

I have just found out that this forum has got new software and a swimming section on addition to the main triathlon one, and there have been a good volume of activity. I wish we can continue our discussion of swimming here in the traditional, clutter free web, easily searchable by Google and without algorithms deciding the content for us.

Btw I have signed up for another channel swim this year and hopefully I will do well.

Excellent. Would love to hear how you’re preparing for the channel swim.

I’ve tried to start a thread or two here, just as a place to chat about swimming in general, keep myself accountable etc etc but it’s always crickets and i lose interest. There is a training thread in the main forum.

Anyways if you want to write about swimming in general, whether short distance pool swimming or open water / surf swimming or epic endurance swims (like the channel) im here and keen to listen / participate!
