He was probably struck by the irony (hopefully not funny) that the best riders in the world have trouble handling their bikes.
What he may not realize is that everyone rides at the limits of their ability no matter how great that ability is.

Frickin’ horrid conditions… Lance and the rest of the riders are laying it down. My hats off to them - cause that ride would suck! There isn’t any thing funny about riding in those conditions and then hittin’ the deck…
