Liver King on netflix

Marky Ramone?

Mark Bell

I dont have netflix and l know nothing about the liver guy except what l learned in this thread.

But l think there is actually significant benefit to learning about successful grifters and conmen influencers who pull in massive followings, as it can teach one about society, cults, the gullibility of people, and the behavior of many people all around us.

Plus, it helps to keep oneself from falling for massively stupid sh*t.

I googled that guy when his name came up here a couple of months ago and got assaulted by his content for a while. I’m still seeing his AG1 ads. The algorithms can bite me.

Apparently enough to remove a tenth of your self.

Wow. Looks like a pretty normal dude and easily 25 years younger. That’s pretty sad.

Released on bond, still looking for Joe Rogan, absolutely out of his mind. Someone needs to help this guy; as disorganized as he is and given the reason he was charged I can’t believe he’s still walking around in public. He is not well.

That is pretty crazy that he was released.

I think I remember hearing that Rogan has a team of former seals as his private security. I don’t care how many raw gizzards you eat, that isn’t going to end well.

100 liver kings vs 1 Joe Rogan, I’m going with Joe.

So I watched a few of the videos he’s posted recently. It seems he feels maligned by the Netflix film that Kiki linked in the OP, and bullied somehow by Rogan, which explains his current predicament. He also says he’s been microdosing something prior to his travels there, but didn’t say what.

Why is he after Rogan in the first place?

Nevermind Sphere just posted it.

See above.

He mentioned he’s fighting for family many times. One of his videos clarified that he felt his family was under attack from Netflix and from Joe Rogan‘s bullying in particular. I don’t think Rogan has spent much time on liver King, but he did call him out for lying about steroids. But then, that’s not really Rogan‘s issue, he just stated the obvious. There may be more to it, but nothing I’ve seen.

Rogan poked fun at him a bit during his steroid admission period, and occasionally uses him as an example, but really hasn’t been on his radar at all from what I’ve heard.

LK is clearly not well though and needs someone to step up and save him from himself. He is essentially indistinguishable from a homeless person mid psychosis with access to a substantial bank account right now.

He’s sort of an avatar for the U.S. right now. Once on top now flailing, self important, issuing threats to people who did nothing to him, clutching his guns, gold plating everything, and batshit crazy.

LK got outed as a fraud and internet shamed. Sounds like he’s focused his misery and downfall on Rogan (rogan had nothing to do with it), but he’s public and crazy people like to irrationally fixate and place blame on individuals (usually high profile) for their problems.

He also might be doing all this to keep his clicks and audience going…pivoting his attention seeking by creating all this drama…in the end, it keeps his social media revenue flowing and keeps him relevant.

I watched the Netflix program this morning. I thought it played straight down the middle, and gave him a fair go at presenting his side. The last five minutes were brutal though, and basically called him a fraud. I don’t know if he made up the stories about his kids health or being bullied as a kid, but they certainly gave the viewer the impression that he did, which is what I’m guessing he takes excpetion with? The fact that he gave details about his theft of GNC products didn’t exactly help his case any, but if it’s true, it’s context for the viewer.

I get where they were coming from with respect to his HGH use, in theory. I didn’t follow him closely but I never heard him make claims that his physique was directly related to his diet or lifestyle. It was sort of incidental to those things, unspoken (again unless he did and I missed it) but also heavily implied if not. So I can appreciate the accusations of fraud. I think the whole idea he was pushing has merit–the tenets aren’t new or unique–but the diet was extreme and gimmicky, and it seems that he’s moved on from the strict carnivore diet but it wasn’t exactly clear in the wrap up. It is clear, though, that he’s still on the gear, at least at the time of the film’s final footage, based on his physique. I remember shortly after he confessed that he lost some muscle mass in what I assume was his attempt to get clean, but that final footage 6 months later looks to me like he’s as juiced as ever.

I’m curious about the state of his business, number of followers, management team relationship given his obvious struggles lately. I can’t imagine he’s holding on to sponsors right now with this nonsense going on and presenting himself like a schizophrenic homeless person.

His IG account currently lists 3M followers and 1.6k on X.

AC/DC has entered the chat.

I had a good friend who was a Ph.D biochemist that worked for many years at Shaklee. There was some good science that went into their products, but the crazy MLM stuff overshadowed anything positive about the products.
