about 1:55 Mountain, so 12:55 Pacific. I would love to see Shalane take Regina Jacob’s (DOPING BEYATCCH!) AR down. The fact that Jacobs still has it chaps my ass.

Yeah, that sucks for him, too. Tero, the javelin thrower, is a really nice kid. Had a chance to meet him in Helsinki at Worlds in '05.

So much for a great ladies race, what is it with the world class women??? They just cannot seem to be able to run a fast race together. How many times do you see a 1/3 or 1/2 the field gettting lapped, and today in just a 5th best world time…

Now the men, they have 8 guys together with a lap to go, and it has to be sprinted out in the last 100m to decide the winner, and it is a worlds best time…No wonder that they showed very little of the race… I was getting pissed to have to watch high jumpers and pole vaulters, for 30 seconds before they even went. But I guess I wasn’t really missing much, good run by the winner though, 14:36…

yes, disappointed in the US showing in that as well. that Morocan chick has a 20 second PR, which has got to be huge for her. Well; it can’t be Alan Webb every week :). But it’s live track, so I’m not gonna complain.
