My wife and I took some classes from him and if he does the double (he already did a single crossing a few yrs ago) he’ll be in the company of only like 25 other people on the books…

Why on earth would he actually want to swim back to England.For god's sake the food,wine,beaches,weather,culture and most importantly the women are far nicer in France.I wish him all the best on his swim though.You have to be one tough nutter to do that double crossing.

Comments: Andy reports they can see people on the beach Dave is hoping to land on. The current is pulling him to a likely landing spot just north of Cap Gris-Nez. Andy says Dave is showing some minor signs of fatigue, but otherwise is looking strong.
Right now it’s high season for channel swims. The channel swimmers listserv has updates as they happen. When the weather clears it is usually a couple of people in the water.
