Has the Saber changed much from 2001 to current form? Need info for educated purchase. Thanks in advance.
The only thing the '04 Saber has in common with the '01 is the name. The bike has changed completely. The '03 bike was very, very good but the '04 is even better with much nicer downtube and top tube.
The evolution of the Saber (and its distant caveman cousin, the Tachyon)has been significant. Previous version had some weird shortcomings such as too long top tube per seat tube and also too short head tubes among other things. True to form, Litespeed has actively corrected those things. The '04 bike is about as good as it gets for now.
