The boys at Litespeed set me up with this new Xicon for TRIFEST 09. It was unbelievable for the price point Litespeed is aiming for. It was a rocket on the downhills, climbed with authority, and cornered very securely. $1599 for a Ti frameset!! Thanks Litespeed.
Ah man. I can’t see the photo. Fiddlesticks.
Sorry, not sure how to add the pic properly. Here is the link to “another” forum where it’s shown. http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?t=165711
It’s only showing if you are a member of roadbikereview! 3rd try then you’re out ![]()
I really dont want to register at that forum to see the pic, can someone post it correctly here?
TA DA !

Is this a new model “Xicon” its not on Litespeed’s website ?
JG
Thanks for that. IT doesn’t look that fast does it? I guess pedals would make it much faster ![]()
I’m new to this forum so forgive the picture errors. As I stated, the bike was given to me to use by Litespeed. I had already taken my pedals off after the ride then they snapped the pic. It was fast and I liked it very much.
All it needs is Campy and the polished finish (its only a $1000 upcharge to any frame
- Now you are screwed, no other bike (other than maybe another higher end Litespeed or Lynsky) will ever compare.
Just teasing you, Seth. Welcome to the forum, when do you take delivery?
Thanks Julian. It’s a protype model right now. The Xicon comes out in May. I wish I could have it now. It will look great next to my Saber ![]()
Why you dressed like Spiderman? ![]()
Nice bike, by the way!!!
a rocket on the downhills!
it must be that innovative gravity assist technology they are using there, what with the wheels and bearings and mass and stuff
Seth
Welcome to ST. You can’t sweat the small shit on the forum:)
PS: I’ve been here since 05 and still can’t post a pic.
as a former Ghisallo owner, it just doesnt seem sexy. Sounds like it has all the Litespeed qualities though.
Thanks Julian. It’s a protype model right now. The Xicon comes out in May. I wish I could have it now. It will look great next to my Saber ![]()

that team kit is atrocious!
Hi,
As an owner of 3 differrent ABG Ti bikes, I have to point out a sad truth.
This bike is not made from USA Aerospace certified 3/2.5 Ti. They source this tubing from CHINA.
RUBBISH!
If you want an American Frame made with American tubes and by American workers…Try Lynskey Performance, the family who founded Litespeed.
