A buddy of fine is selling his DA-equipped Litespeed Ghisallo. He bought it 2 years ago and is not getting as much time to ride as he thought he would. If it fits, I’m thinking of buying it. It feels very light and has compact geometry. My buddy says it climbs like a rocket. Does anyone have any experience with this frame?
I bought a Ghisallo last year and I would not trade it in for anything. It is definitely light. Mine is 15-3/4 lbs and I did not go crazy on getting it built superlight. The bike climbs like a mountain goat. There is some flex in the rear triangle but I do not feel that takes away from the acceleration of this bike. I don’t think they have a weight max for a rider and have talked to a guy who weighs 200# and has had no problems. I weigh 160# and feel this bike well suited for me. I live where there are lots of hills as well as very rough roads and have done lots of long (75mi+) rides and feel fresh coming off this frame. I do not had any negative things to say about this frame.
