Bored at work… !

Back to sleep now

Sweet!!

Very nice except for the bottle launchers and the rear wheel. Get a disk and be all you can be.

I have pretty much the same set-up. Different aero-bars and wheels… One thing I noticed is that the profile cages with the x-lab saddlewing aren’t a good combination if you want to have your water bottles after mile 5 on the bike. I used my profile bottles (like yours) because I had them left over from my previous behind the seat set-up. Those cages will launch a bottle far and often. However, you may not have quite the problems I did since it looks like you are using the flat wing - not the saddle wing. I suggest getting some cheap wire cages, though, that you can bend in tighter. It’s a sweet ride. Have a blast.

Thanks…bottles don’t launch anymore ( I hope ) and you know the rules in Kona.

Thanks for advice. Since this photo I have wrapped a strong rubber band around the profile cages and seems to be very tight and snug. But , yes I did have a nasty , hot and thirsty race recently when both ejected , damn near taking out a passing jet !

Thanks for advice gents.

Man, those pedals just stick out like a sore thumb… ;^)

They are being changed to Look’s next week. The Speedplay’s were a bit of an experiment, don’t like them either.

your seat’s too high… hahaha LOL… sorry couldn’t resist… i just tend to laugh whenever i read that line… lovely little inside joke we have here… seriously though sweet ride… you’ll be slicing ho’omuku winds in Kona with no problemo… best of luck.

I hope your right about slicing through the winds in Kona Mark
.

“the rules in Kona.”

True, but for a windy course it’s crucial to have more surface area rear than front. Try a HED Deep or an 808 on the rear. Alternatively, get something with less surface area for the front, Nimble Fly, 303, etc.

I thought you weren’t allowed to be bored at work, especially in Singapore.

I can attest this is a great looking bike since I’ve seen it in person.

get back to work!

Will be using Hed Alp and the pictured Hed H3C in Kona. Will not be buying anymore wheels in the near future…guaranteed. Appreciate your feedback though CE thanks.

Looks GREAT!..Love the wheels…Is that wall color called melted butter or old banana?..goes with your speedplays…nice touch.

It’s xcalled Slowtwitch yellow.

I love the forum so much I painted the whole house this color

Hope they are Keos, those would look nice on that set-up.

Yes Keos they are , have heard a lot of good things about them.

Nice bike…Speedplays are the best pedals on the market bar-none.

Do not change them.

You are correct - except that he should have some Zero titaniums though to match the bike

Very nice by the way
