Lions vs All Blacks, test two

What did I say, what did I say? " if the Maori beat the Lions, then they will be overwhelmed by the AB’s" If only I was smart enough to put my money where my mouth was. Any predictions for the next test? I’m betting its going to be closer: the margin between triumph and disaster is very slim, the Lions are going to make very sure they tighten up their act and the ABs just aren’t going to have the same hunger to win this time.

PS if this is unintelligible, now you know how I feel when someone posts about baseball.

Hard to find anything good to say about the Lions, eh? I suppose a bit depends on who he selects next.

I think the All Blacks are going to chuck it around a fair bit more than they did…they will figure they will win the war at the breakdown, so where is the risk of chancing your arm? If that happens then all hell could break loose…

Hey ,

I used to play Rugby,

Whatever happened to Jonah Llamu (sp)? He was big, and fast when i was in college.

Watched the game in my local on Saturday morning (thanks, Waxy’s!) and was most impressed by the All Black’s control of the game. Nobody panicked, nobody tried to play by himself - I thought they were very solid. Mind you, the Lions were pretty average, weren’t they? I had to laugh at the weather - was that spots of sleet on someone’s (cameraman’s?) glove near the end of the first half ??!! I keep forgetting that was what we played in when I was a kid, didn’t even think about it. Now? Fugheddaboutit. I guess the conditions precluded a lot of throwing around of the ball, so hope next test get’s a little more open.

Cheers

Barry
