whatever ? this part of the story is being suppressed no doubt. The kid needed some help either way and obviously was not getting it. The parents are POS. In the end you are wrong and you are pushing your agenda, I just want the truth and you know Im on the correct side that is why you are mudlsiigning.

Which part of the story is “being suppressed”? The lie that the shooter is trans? Don’t worry, the right wing echo chamber has been actively spreading that lie. They even made fake social media accounts, falsely claimed the shooter was someone else, and promoted the lie that trans people are to blame for school shootings.

In the end you are wrong. There is zero evidence the shooter is trans. In fact the shooter “voiced frustration about the acceptance of transgender individuals.” on his Discord account. You are not on the “correct side”, you are repeating misinformation.

There are tons of other suggestions by both sides. But no one is going to support the others ideas. Personally, show you care, vote FOR the other sides ideas on how to stop this, then if it works great, if not you can say well you were wrong. Personally If they were even close to serious they would be approving parts or all of both sides, but we cant do that.

I didn’t see anything that suggested we ban guns. Sure, that is an option, but the only suggestion of something was a vague “some sort of gun control”. In that same post it was dismissed because in the current environment any sort of significant or reasonable gun control is not possible. Even things like red flag laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally unstable run into massive resistance. There is a massive spectrum of options between our current situation and ban all guns, but it turns out none of them seem possible.

WRONG, most if not all the other options are possible as they are not controlled by our constitution which is hard to change. The problem is the Rep wont support any of the Dem ideas, better mental health programs for one, the Dems wont support Rep ideas, police or other armed people in schools.

Isn’t it easier to just say, “republicans won’t support ideas that are shown to work.”

Changing the constitution takes 5 votes on scotus. That could very well happen.

NO cause Dem’s wont support ideas that have also been shown to work.

let me repeat… he was bullied for being trans or gay, I did not say he was trans or gay. Looking at the picture shown online, I could see that happening . middle school/high school can be rough if you dont quite fit in somewhere.

His dad says gay, not trans .

I’ve read some reporting that he was called “gay,” based on a transcript of his father’s complaint in 2023. I haven’t been following too closely, but I’ve read nothing that he was gay. Or trans. You should clearly distinguish between those two things.

You do kind of come off as wanting the shooter to have been gay or trans.
