Every Sunday morning, NPR has an on-air puzzle at 8:40am EST. The host is the editor of the NYTimes puzzle page. People have until Thursday to submit their answer; a winner is chosen to play on the air the next Sunday. I’ve been submitting them for about a decade. I often think about the puzzle, if it’s difficult, on my Sunday morning bike or run. Here’s this week’s puzzle (rather easy, I’m afraid):
Take the phrase “printer cable” and rearrange its 12 letters to name a famous person. This is a famous name from history.
E-mail your answer to puzzle@npr.org.
Don’t post your answer, or else you may spoil it for others.
