Light behind seat bottle holder

I currently use a X Lab saddle wing.

Weighs a ton. Anyone know of a lighter option that will work on an aero seatpost (P3) or attach to the saddle.

Thanks.

One question you need to ask yourself is do you want light or do you want all the features of the xlab. i’ve looked at the xlab but had hesitation for the weight reasons, but, is it really making that much of a difference in your times.

there are lighter options out there, but i don’t know of any that offer all the gear carrying options. you can find a bottle carrier on trivillage.com that will just carry 2 bottles.

Anyone know of any light options that will hold just one bottle behind the seat. I got a bike with only a seat tube braze on for a bottle (no downtube braze on), and I hate putting something up front on my handlebars. Only option is going behind the seat with one of those dumb bottle launchers :-(.

I have a Specialized one. It’s basically shaped like a cross, attaches to the saddle rails and is for one bottle cage. Got this thing back in 1991. Another option, back in the day Flite Controls made one that attaches to the seatpost for one bottle cage. I saw one on ebay a coupld of weeks ago.

Thanks guys. Another option is to take the profile dual holder that clamps to the seat post and take the hacksaw and cut off one of the holders. I like how the profile holder sits lower than the seat. Makes mounting and dismounting simpler.

Actually, I just found this: http://www.trisports.com/misicasamo.html

Thanks. I have the xlab so am aware of it’s capabilities. “There are lighter options out there”…what are they?

The Tri sports product is for a round seat post not an aero post. I have a P3 so it needs to fit an aero post or on the saddle.
