I missed all but the last 4 laps, unfortunately. I was out riding and didn’t ealize the race was on until I got back. What happened to Alonso??
They ran a 2 stop strategy, Alonso pitted first, then Hamilton and before the next stops Alonso was all over Hamilton but could not pass him. Eventually coming down the straight Alonso runs across the track and right along the pit wall. The speculation being that he was not to happy and wanted to send a message to Ron D about the fact that McClaren should have instructed Lewis to let him by given that he was going to pit before Lewis. Hamilton held him off, Alsonso then pitted, Lewis then pitted came out ahead and held him off till the end.
10 point lead, 10 races to go, if I were Alsono I’d be worried…
