Lew VS. HED3

Powerman is a hilly course, but not entirely uphill. :wink: You can generate significant speeds on all the descents so aerodynamics are still going to be vital. It sounds like it might be windy again this year, so aerodynamics will be even more important. Personally, I am going to run my HED Jet front and HED Disc rear. Good luck.

Thanks Eric- I actually got many more responses off of another forum and have my decision. Thanks for the reply and good luck this weekend!

Congrats on the 2nd place, what wheels did you end up using?

Tim;

Congrats on your podium fininsh at PM AL. Are you still on Merlin? We had corresponded last year about how you set up your Agilis. I am now on a Merlin Agilis for Duathlon. Did you go away from the compact frame?

Again Great Job

Where can I find a complete results page? Only shows the top 12 or so on the powerman website.

I went down there to check out the race and do my long run while everyone was competing. Tim was racing on a 2004 Merlin Magia set up with Hed 3 wheels. The 10th place finisher Michael Simpson from Canada also raced on a Merlin, but he rode an Agilis.
Cheers,
Herbert

Duathlon.com has a link to complete results.

Thanks for the info on Merlin. Since I have both frames in question plus the Aerial. Always interested how they do. Also curious about how someone sets up the Agilis (compact frame) for Tri or Du as I think it is a great way to go.

Again Thanks,
