But it’s not ALL fun and games. Despite looking like they’re just standing around, wasting time, each one of my guys (and gals) have a specific task. This is stuff getting unloaded from what we call the “bulk”. Gate-checked strollers for the passengers with children, mail, packages and last-minute bags. The mail will be rushed over to the P.O. by the two ladies in the picture. Clifford (the guy standing next to the loader) is, well…he’s just standing around wasting time! ;-))

I am on one of these very same aircraft on my way to Japan on the 13th continuing on to Bangkok, then Laguna Phuket. I’m looking forward to a great flight on one of the finest aircraft ever built (Boeing 747, 400 version I think) on the best airline, Northwest.
