You know what would make this race more relevant and interesting? Give each car enough gas for 475 miles and then let the drivers push the cars for the last 25 miles. HTFU. Driver outside of the car, one hand on the steering wheel and one on the car. Plus NASCAR could talk about how much they care about the environment by not wasting that last 25 miles worth of gas.
