Anyone familiar with the hotel above? Wife and I are looking at options for San Fran. Seems like a good price four a 4 star. I guess the location is the reason? Thoughts anyone?
Thank you in advance.

Its about 2 blocks from my office. Good location. You’re right down at the Embarcadero, a couple of blocks from the Cali cable car line, walking distance to Union Square.
Thumbs up then? Good reputation? $165 a night is pretty cheap for SF. Cheap enough where I’m actually wondering what’s wrong with it, you know?
Average for 4 star is $290 online. Booking price then after a phone call would probably get me to… what… maybe $220 with some haggeling. $165 seems like a screaming deal.

Probably because its not right at Union Square.
Mr. Burns,
I don’t know why you are going to go to San Fran. (business or pleasure). But there’s a guy I know from grade school and high school who is a the head chef at this restaurant:

Apparently, it is about 70 miles outside of San Francisco in the wine country. It seems as though the reviews for his cooking are pretty good. Just thought I would let you know.

Stayed at the Omni a couple years ago in SF. Absolutely the best service I have ever experienced. Now I only stay at Omni’s whenever I can. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check it out.
$165 is a super deal. Maybe the bed is in the alley on a flattened cardboard box?
Good one!
