I think the LR has toned down quite a bit since the end of the presidential election, honestly. And what’s wrong with opinion? Everybody’s entitled to one, just as everybody has to expect to be called on that opinion when it’s expressed.

Eh, my schizophrenia comes and goes. One year, raging lunatic. The next, middle-of-the-road milquetoast. Actually, I was trained to argue all sides of an issue convincingly, but I prefer the right side of the aisle, of course. Besides, I made a promise to give our new president his hundred days before jumping onto his neck – if he deserves it – and I haven’t seen anything yet that would make me want to break that vow, so I must by needs try to be adult about things.
