Latest In Ukraine War

Before the invasion, a British YouTuber was arrested in and banned for life from Russia for recording his antics of sneaking in to an old Soviet era base that still houses their decommissioned space shuttles.

It doesn’t seem like their security is that tight.

So hangers don’t have doors? Windows can’t have some chicken wire put over them?

Yep, you called it. One helicopter destroyed, one damaged in drone strike inside Russia.

More good news. Looks like an F16 shot down a Russian SU 35.

Good update on the status of the war.

Ukraine seems to have launched another surpise attack behind enemy lines, although details are sketchy and no videa. Claiming they took out 13 tanks and 100 armored vehicles that were being transported via train. Something about the drones being launched from grain hoppers.

That was great news! Our hand me down 4th generation fighter beats your current 4th gen. A reasonable person would assume that our F-16’s are even better equipped.

The SU 35 wouldn’t stand a chance against our 5th gen stuff.

Was it a dog fight? If not, the kill is because Ukraine has better amd/or longer range air to air missiles

The link above admitted that it wasn’t confirmed as air-to-air but was reported as such.

Huh? So the SU 35 was on the ground?

Sorry misread one of the posts, carry on…lol

Could have just crashed or been shot down by ground to air missile.

And this morning it’s being reported two more jets have been destroyed at a different airfield in Russia.

Here’s more on that.

Ukraine says it hit Russian MiG-31, Su-30/34 fighter jets following attack on airfield

Hopefully this is a trend, as you alluded to earlier.

More details are coming out. It was as reported, an air to air strike from an F-16.

The specific fighter in the sortie was an F-16AM originally from the Netherlands, which has given 24 such planes to Ukraine.

What happens behind the scenes to those captured by the Russian:

Rough times for Russian aviation continue, now they are shooting one another down.

Wow, great video.

Another nice story I saw today was about a Ukranian Mig-29 destroying a UAV control post and ammo/fuel storage. Must be a beotch for the Ruskies when the old Soviet planes come back to bite them in the ass.
