It is good to see a class act like Michael McCormack, two time IMC winner race as a professional. Even though he is 45 yo and hasn’t been competitive in the pro circuit he at least has the courtesy to race as a pro, unlike the punk.
I was also listening to Chris Lieto on his post-race interview detailing how he has spent more time this year working as a mortgage broker. I don’t see him dropping down to amateur status.

I think I saw that Chris Lieto has a full page ad in Triathlete Magazine promoting his mortgage business. Is he a bad guy for using his triathlon celebrity to promote his other profession? Well, by POSTING your opinion, you open yourself up for criticism regarding it. Did you really thing that you could post this and no one would attack you for it? You are indeed entitled to your opinion, and you’re entitled to post it. This other guy here now has an opinion of YOU, and he (or she) is entitled to post THAT as well.

Are you serious? I am the only one that is willing to foam such shit at the mouth and still be brave enough to actually put my real name out there…then again…most y’all know I am just fooling around. Though I do think that Larsen may have been a bit under the boards…he was well within the rules. That is all that matters.
Now, this 140.6 guy…I bet that if he has ever even done a 1/2…MOP at best…certainly not a qualifier. It is the best people at the race that have the least to prove…or talk all that shit.

The same way I am sure you have an opinion about the President or who should be the President of the U.S. The same way you likely have an opinon about other thing that you do not participate in, such as steroid use in baseball. It is called an opinion, whether, I participate in it or not. I am a fan of the sport, and find it shameful that some choose to manipulate the rules to the detriment of others. I don’t discount that Larsen is a tremendous ahtlete but I do discount his chosen course of racing as an AGer, while others who are far less competitive such as McCormack still do, and still others who likely spend as much time as Larsen with non triathlon related business activities also race as pros.
Perhaps a better alternative would be to write something positive about how admirable it is that McCormick and Leito STILL race as pros despite being at a training time disadvantage rather than write the “STILL a punk” stuff.
