Landice Treadmill Help

Hey guys,

I have upgraded to a used Landice 8700 Sprint from a Nordic Track. Wow what an upgrade. This thing is a monster. Have logged about 150 miles on it without problems. One question though, when I have the incline set on 0%, it actually is elevated to about 2% and “feels” like running on my old nordic track with the incline set at 2%. I have heard that one needs to set the incline at 2% to simulate the effort of running outdoors. Any thoughts???

Assuming you bed is actually flat when set to zero incline, I would not run with an incline below 1%. It seems easier on the knees and seems accurate enough.

I like setting it up to maintain HR and have it adjust the slope so as to keep HR steady. It gives a good workout that you can judge by total distance climbed.
