How many world elitists would ride around and have some good old fashioned road riding fun with the locals and then invite them into their pad to hang out?

Gotta luv that competitive nature taking over, leaving them behind too…
Those guys were hardly locals. They are the founders of MASH Clothing. They came in to help sell stuff at Lances store. They all live in San Fran
them boys can ride some bicycles! thanks for explaining. funny, those would be the same guys that were only yesterday called assholes in another thread and there goes Big Lance riding with 'em, gotta luv it! you ever hung out there at Lance’s pad?
Lances acceleration at the end clearly proves his fixie was electric

fixed.
Looked like a group of idiots riding bikes and some wonder why a driver loses it once in a while.
I thought the same time when I first saw that video. Reckless riding, no helmets … Just a bad example.
example? christalmightification, that’s how you ride a bike…as a beginner.
you people should definitely stay away from the Racer Boi group rides down here in Houston aka The Death Ride, it’s meant for real cyclists and puts that video to shame, all lycra wearing REAL road racers and road bike TEAMS in it.
Damn, beat me to it. Just another bunch of “cool” guys trying hard to be different and ending up just being the same. And we wonder why cyclists get the bad rep. we have. OOOhh, look at me riding my cool bike, breaking all the traffic laws. These Guys = douchebags
the only thing that i don’t agree with in the video posted yesterady in that SUV Rampage thread with the MASH guys from SF was the letting their bikes ghost ride into parked vehicles and causing damage to which i’m sure no one stuck around for. any property damage is a crime but outside of that it’s just riding a bike in the city, plain and simple.
Fixie hipsters, is there anything more awful on this planet. I bet they found it “ironic” Austin has roads like San Fransico has roads. Hipsters must die.

triathletes, no bike skills whatsoever…just saying. as it is to you all a lifestyle, it is so to them. I’m not a fixie rider at all, don’t dress like that, don’t own a fixie, don’t really hang out with many although i do ride with some (Butch, the lead singer of a local band known as Thirty Foot Fall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uhW-JVtJy4) when i’m in or around downtown houston but i do agree with OWNING the road while on a bike is all.
A fixed gear is cool but if you put a hipster on it you have pure evil.
I enjoyed this video when I saw it over a year ago. It actually gave me the idea to fix up my old commuter bike and take it out regularly to do errands around town. I also spent a good long time trying to find what the music was - I see Youtube has the song credit now, neat new feature.
I was disappointed that Lance would ride and be filmed not wearing a helmet. Really??
Owning the Road.
Bike- $500- $10000
Apparel- $50-$400
Helmet- $50-$300
Loss of Life and a lifetime of counselling for family and first responders- Priceless
Stop being an ass and grow up.

it’s a double negative. on one hand he is a role model and is ALWAYS expected to “do the right thing” as it pertains to cycling not to mention everything else and on the other hand he can’t just do what he wants, have a good time riding his bike for fun for once, without being criticized.
i know what you mean but if he jumped from a bridge, would you? i wouldn’t.

Up-to his return, I suspect that Lance rode without a helmet more than he rode with a helmet.
