This is pretty funny.
"David Letterman wanted to know about Lance Armstrong’s cycle of life when the seven-time Tour de France winner appeared on his show Monday.
And he might have reminded Armstrong of his training wheels when he offered him a gift more suitable for an 8-year-old girl than a veteran athlete. Letterman gave Armstrong a basket for his bike, one adorned with plastic flowers and a sign that read "7 TIME WINNER.‘’
"It goes right on the handlebars,‘’ Letterman said. "You see what I’m talking about.‘’
The gift reminded Armstrong of the first time he was a guest on the show, when he received a beaded seat cover suitable for a New York taxi driver but made to fit a bicycle seat.
"Dave cut one out the shape of a saddle, with just the beads, and said, ‘Here, I thought you might like this,’‘’ Armstrong said. “But the two together, the seat and this, I might come back for No. 8.‘’”
