In all the pictures of LA running, he is wearing some Nike baggy shorts. Does anyone know which model they are? Quite like to get some.
Thanks,
Will

they are basketball shorts, They are actually ridiculous on him. He used to race in speedos in his tri era, now he is too hip for normal running shorts ??
Nike said a few years ago that they had stopped using sweatshop labor. When they were found to have concealed their sweatshop subcontractors and publicly lied about it, they were prosecuted for fraud. Their defense was “freedom of speech.” With all the people here on ST so profoundly opposed to doping and cheating, why would anyone want to wear the logo of a company whose credo is lying?
This looks stupid, don’t do it:

.
I think Nike stopped using the word “sweatshops”. After all, since the employees are mostly young women, they are properly called “glowshops”.
agree.
They are the dri-fit long running shorts. I’ve seen them at Scheel’s type stores. I have a couple pair and really like them. If your local bike shop carries Nike the can order them. That’s what I did.

Because if you did some serious research you find very few companies and none of the major ones that you purchase products from.
I agree with da House. I don’t bet there are many 401k plans in China, or most of the countries that make stuff. Don’t even think about global warming issues if you buy anything from developing countries. We sort of live in a very glass house, in that we want stuff, but don’t want to think about the real cost of manufacturing it.
Do you really think Adidas, Puma, Reebok,or Asics are any different than Nike? I thnk Padiguchi actually does care a bit, but the rest are all the same.
Nike Outlet - Long running shorts, like someone else said.
They are now selling them under the Air Armstrong line of Nike apparel ![]()

Ah yes, because the good ol’ U S of A is sooooo concerned about global warming. Remind me again which country hasn’t signed the Kyoto treaty?
And who is buying all the USA Peabody coal for their power needs? Kyoto be damned, they are complaining of pollution blowing over from the mainland in Kyoto too. That freekin treaty is so bogus, the answer isn’t in Kyoto. The world needs to quit buying shit and driving their cars so much.
If you can run a sub 5:00 mile you are hip in my book, regardless of what you wear.
"Quite like to get some. "
Why? You a home boy? ![]()
I keep a pair in the car as well. They are good for putting on over your cycling shorts, when your are driving home after a ride and your wife wants you to pick something up at Krogers and you don’t want to run around in a grocery store in your bike kit, with no bike.
It cracks me up how a bunch of dudes who wear spandex and tri-suits crack on what people wear to exercise.
They’re not all the same. Nike said it’s OK to lie to the public because they have freedom of speech to do so. Which of these other companies stood in a court of law and made such a brazen assertion?
