Last month my family dog Moose was diagnosed with lymphoma. Originally we had planned to leave Moose with family friends for the week of Ironman Lake Placid so finding a rental that accepted dogs wasn’t a priority. However, after his diagnosis my family and I were no longer comfortable leaving him with family friends and decided to bring him with us. Unfortunetley the rental does not take dogs (I was stupid and forgot to check when I rented), if the cabin is not rented we’ll be out our deposit.

I’ve since found a rental that accepts pooches - right on the bike course! But would rather not loose my deposit for the other place so hoping a slowtwitcher or two is looking for a rental.
