Lake Placid Lodging Available

Hi.

I am renting a house that is a short walk to town on the actual Lake Placid, and I have space for 2 more people. The property listing is here. The 2 would most likely be sleeping on the sofa bed, as the 2 bedrooms already have occupants, although I could take one more female to share the bedroom that I will be in, which has 2 single beds.

5 of us stayed there last year, and it was great.

The rental is on a weekly basis, and no matter how many days you plan on staying, we will split the tab equally–it still will end up being a great deal. Last year it was $2350 for the week, and we split it 5 ways, which is a good price for even a 3-night say considering the location and all.

I won’t be asking for money until May, which is when I will need a full commit and payment from everyone.

Oh, and though we are serious about the race, we are also pretty casual and fun-loving (why do I feel like I’m writing a personals ad???); i.e., there will be beer and wine and maybe some flashing and other assorted antics.

Ditto on the whole fun antics thing. Had a blast staying at this house last year and very very nice and a very short walk into town. LOVED IT!

Also, I’ll be bringing a professional massage table, first come first served! :-))

I am glad to see the fefe did put a disclaimer on her initial post…the sites and sounds that one would hear in that week would be worth the plane ticket.

Oh and maybe we should also announce that we are amazing talented good cooks!!! fefe grilled up a tuna steak the size of your head last year…yummy!
