Huge group being led by Robert Kallin and Jason West sitting on the back of that group. impressed that Jason is still there.
Trevor now only 2:50 back

Trevor is about to absolutely blow through that chase back and get up into second place very quickly
A blue card for Lisa Perterer, not sure what she did but the announcers speculated it had something to do with some pro or AG men coming through. If so, that’s going to be fodder for discussion.
Marquardt is hammering!!!
Why do we still have buffered blurry video?
Marquardt and Trevor taking turns and flying through the field
This course has very little cell phone reception and is very very remote
No aero “rake” for Foley?
He is still on a full mono bar made by Evolve.
The spacers on the Speedbar put the elbows a little bit too close, so chose to stick with the evolve for this race. Will adjust the spacers after this race.
Not an AG man. The MPro who’s doing really well to ride as fast as the leading women (Perterer, Lawrence, Sanchez) is Juan IV Curra (ESP) who most recently finished 54 minutes behind KB in IM Frankfurt.
No idea the circumstances of Perterer’s drafting but I speculate that, leading, she came up behind Curra and didn’t pass when flashed red.
Why did he get rid of the Speedbar/rake setup ? His choice or IM ?
Who is in front of Lisa? Trevor is in a suicide mission.
I answered that already above: “The spacers on the Speedbar put the elbows a little bit too close, so chose to stick with the evolve for this race. Will adjust the spacers after this race.”
I’m starting to believe there’s a big psychological component to his cramping.
He said that it is a damaged nerve in his quad
Sorry I was confused…“spacers were too close, but I will adjust them after” so I was “if faster and adjustable, why not adjust it”…but I get it, there are 1001 details and sometimes we do what we can do.
Seems like so far we’ve spent a lot more time watching the men. Admittedly, it’s a more interesting race with all those great bikers at the front but it does seem unbalanced.

For the first part of the bike, it was 90% coverage of the women. And they even did split screen for a little bit. This is a hard course to cover with how remote it is and how hard the rain is.
This lead bike group is insanely strong. Awesome to see them working together.
