Meanwhile, while we deal with our water issues at Ann Arbor, the Lake Erie situation is looking better as of the last temperature map.
I can’t believe that no one has blamed Fermi for the warmer water. 
I wondered about that too… Actually, I think we have the good ole’ Detroit River to thank for the warmer temps. That and some stable winds over the past few days.
I did the French Town race last year. It was weird. There was this beautiful park, and beautiful beach, but as you stood there and looked out at the lake, to your left were the cooling towers for Fermi, and to the right were some smoke stacks for the Ford plant.
