Lake Arrowhead Tri Anyone Going?

I’m racing Lake Arrowhead on Saturday because it is in my backyard or more correctly lake. Is anyone going?

Count me in, too + 1. I know several IITC folks that also frequent here will be there also, flying the IITC colors.

I’ll be there. I missed last year with a broken collarbone, but did the first year in '03. I am doing the full race and also swimming for a couple of kids from Exceeding Expectations. Its a great organization that helps get underprivileged kids from San Bernardino involved in endurance sports. Inland Inferno should have a pretty good turn out since we are sponsoring the race. Plus its a good excuse to get up to the mountains. Should be a lot of fun.

I haven’t decided about wearing a wetsuit yet. It almost seems silly to bother for such a short swim (600 yds).

Josh and his crew put on a fun race. I did the Snow Valley Tri 2 weeks ago and it was a blast.

The water is nice and warm so you don’t need a wetsuit. My kids have been spending litteraly hours at a time swimming.

If your kids can do it then so can I. No wetsuit for me.
