ah its labor day and the usually packed pool is empty at 5 am. I didn’t think triathletes would take the day off!!

my pool is open from 10-3pm today. so i’m just drinking more coffee.
My pool opened at 8:00 and I was the only one there for the first hour. Nice!
I’m headed down to the beach for the Waikiki Roughwater Swim. 2.3 miles
The 50m outdoor pool here closed for the season yesterday… 
Now its open water swims for a month or so before heading indoors for the winter.

My pool started empty - only 4 people showed up at open @ 9:00, then more straggled in by 9:30 to where a few lanes resorted to circle swim (rare at this pool). I was out before 10:00. I’m thinking the pool is empty now as a cell is blowing over spewing lighting bolts and making some rumbly noises.
Swam at 9am, 8 lane pool was fairly full. GF and I shared a lane.
