Do you take it? Do you feel it is worth it?
Can I mix it in with a small protein shake? If not having a protein shake should I mix it with milk or water? I prefer milk, is this OK?
I have read lots of positive things and found the EAS version on sale online for about $18 for 80 servings so not that bad in terms of supplement prices. As the season goes on I am starting to feel a little worn down and looking to prevent getting sick and being tired/sore so often. I do eat a balanced healthy diet of fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, whole grains, etc., so I am not looking for a shortcut or anything, just something to help. Thanks.
The only supplements I’ve ever noticed working are caffeine and steroids.
Honestly if anyone says they tried l-glutamine and it worked great I can’t imagine how they would even know that except through the power of wishful thinking.
I take it, hard to say if it is “worth it” since I take it in conjunction with whey protein, multi vit, etc. Overall, I feel like I recover better than when I was not taking anything. I got 200 servings for $20, so at that price I figured why not.
I mix it in with my protein shakes, which I make with soy milk.
i think it’s good for recovery and keeping off sickness; but don’t have any specified study or test i’ve done with it. simply when i drink it religiously after hard training, i feel pretty good!
the brand i have is beverly international l-glutamine select. it’s a powder just mix with water. takes away a hangover too, that i can tell you for sure.
