We have the Rock-N-Roll. (It was an unplanned, free upgrade to us for a Road Machine).
Some things you should know:
- It is HUGE - the trainer alone has a foot-print of 4 feet wide x 3 feet deep.
- It doesn’t Rock and Roll very much - It’s quite stable, it just allows you to wiggle back-and-forth maybe +/- 5 degrees.
- The ‘rock-and-roll’ feeling is more natural than a stationary trainer, and somehow causes less irritation at the taint.
- The unit creaks a little when rocking - not overly annoying.
- The roller mechanism is as smooth as my Tacx Flow trainer.
- It weighs a TON and can’t be folded up for easy moving/storage.
- I find the default resistance to be quite hard, and you need to be in a much easier gear (than say the Tacx) to get it rolling.
Our unit has about 1000 miles on it - and it’s not showing any signs of wear.
